OSHA is proposing $102,000 in fines against a company for alleged repeat and serious violations. The repeat violations allege failure to enforce hazardous energy control, apply a lock on an energy isolation device, guard the point of operation on a jag press, ensure adequate protection against welding rays and against airborne overexposures to silica and failure to implement engineering or administrative controls for silica overexposures.
